Armed with a BA in Economics and an MS in Counseling, she bridges her passion for individuals and data. Positioned as the go-to problem-solver, she identifies challenges and offers adept solutions within her team or organization. As the head of the Operations Team for a 30-person Career Services Department across dual campuses, she oversees technology, marketing, and data management. Her expertise extends to managing social media, web content, and steering initiatives to collect, analyze, and report vast data sets. Her focus on educational, experiential, and employment outcomes reflects her commitment to operational efficacy and fostering organizational success.
Jane Shmidt
Director, Career Communities and INSPIRE
As the Director of Career Communities and the INSPIRE Program, Jane aims to bridge the gap between the university classroom and career preparation. She develops and manages career education programming to equip all Pace University students and recent graduates with the tools to pursue co-curricular opportunities and develop a clear roadmap for professional growth. Jane holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature, and her experience teaching courses in literature has informed her strategy in designing pedagogy to help emerging professionals integrate industry specific knowledge with valuable transferable skills.
A career changer herself, Jane is deeply aware of the importance of finding meaningful work that motivates and inspires and is passionate about helping students establish career goals that transcend traditional boundaries between academic disciplines, drawing on the diverse resources of the University to explore their interests experientially and advance their professional goals.

Kayley Henderson
Career Services Operations Fellow
Kayley embodies the Pace go-getter spirit. Having graduated from her Bachelor’s program in Film and Screen Studies in May 2023, she is pursuing her Master’s degree. Throughout her undergraduate years, Kayley distinguished herself by actively engaging in multiple internships within the Entertainment industry and even held the esteemed position of Vice President of Learning & Development in Kappa Delta Sorority. With this wealth of experience, she brings a blend of creativity, exceptional customer service, and impeccable organizational skills to her role in managing the front office experience for our students.

Angelys Mangual
Career Services Fellow
Angelys, who likes to go by Angie, is the Career Counseling Intern and supports students at the front desk of the Pleasantville office. She graduated from Pace University in December 2021 with a degree in Applied Psychology and Human Relations. Angie will be pursuing her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs. She also interned at Career Services and loved her experience so much that she came back to be a Fellow. During her time as an intern, ignited a passion for helping students achieve their career goals and brought her joy to see them succeed. Angie has also worked in Customer Service for 4+ years and has been awarded the Customer Service Training for Students badge, and she worked as a Manager at American Eagle for the past 2 years.
Stefanie Giacoumopoulos

As a senior undergraduate at Pace University’s Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, specializing in Communication and Media Studies, she thrives at the intersection of literature and communication. Engaged as a staff writer and assistant editor for the school newspaper, she sharpens her writing and editing prowess while staying abreast of contemporary trends. In her role as a student aide in the Career Services office, she adeptly facilitates connections between students, counselors, and employers, showcasing her strong interpersonal and organizational acumen.
Helen Reczkowski
Student Aide
Helen is working on a Bachelor’s degree at Pace University, majoring in Arts and Entertainment Management and will graduate in May 2025. She works at Pace University’s Career Services as a Student Aide on the NYC campus where she supports students with scheduling appointments, registering for workshops, and navigating the internship prep programs. She also maintains excellent records using excel spreadsheets to record information in support of a 15+ member staff. She became interested in the business side of the entertainment industry due to her love for film, sports, and music and interest in marketing and media.

Damin is a Career Services Intern and an aspiring Software Engineer with a passion for finding efficient solutions to complex problems, maintaining team synergy, and driving successful project outcomes. You can find him supporting students at the front desk of the Career Services office on the New York City campus.
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Pace University’s Seidenberg School of Computer Science and recently worked as an Application Developer Intern at The YMCA of Greater New York. Throughout his academic journey, Damin has been involved in various projects, including developing mobile applications and building a database application software for an Institute/University.
His expertise lies in Software and Web Development, Product Testing, Agile Methodology, Jira, Confluence, Teamwork, and Interpersonal Relationships. He thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and seeks to contribute and bring value to the team.

Mudra is a Career Services Intern. You can find her supporting students at the Career Services front desk in the New York City office.
A master’s student in Computer Science & Information Systems at Pace University’s Seidenberg School, Mudra brings her passion for technology to the Career Services team. She is also an experienced software developer with 3 years of experience.
Mudra leverages her experience developing and building virtual career centers to create and style resources that help students. Self-motivated and enthusiastic about her work, she constantly seeks ways to streamline processes and enhance the user experience for students.

A recent graduate of Westchester Community College, she’s now pursuing a Bachelor’s in Global Marketing Management at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. Her leadership roles at WCC, including Orientation Leader and VP of Marketing for the Westchester Events Board, showcase her versatility. Serving as VP of Public Relations for Phi Theta Kappa and Marketing/Social Media Coordinator at the Viking News, she’s honed transferable skills like team leadership, project management, and communication—assets that undoubtedly contribute to her professional readiness for any company.
