GET STARTED WITH CAREER SERVICES
Pace University’s Career Services helps every student find a great job and build the foundation of a successful career – no matter who you are, whom you know, or what your major is. The sooner you get started with Career Services, the sooner you’ll get hired for an internship or job. Ready to get started? Just follow these five steps:
1
EXPLORE CAREERS
Maybe you know what field you want to get into, maybe you don’t. We can help. Get started by registering for our “Explore Career Communities and Get Started on your Internship Search” Workshop or do a self-guided tour through our 15 Career Communities.
2
ROCK YOUR RESUME
Design your college resume. Register for the “Rock Your Resume” Workshop on Handshake and then score your resume and get instant feedback with our AI tool, Resume Worded. And if it’s looking a bit sparse, don’t worry – we’ll work on that together. Just schedule an appointment with a Career Counselor.
3
FIND INTERNSHIPS & JOBS ON HANDSHAKE

4
GET CONNECTED WITH EMPLOYERS
Career fairs. Employer spotlights. Road trips. These are just a few of the options for you to get out there and learn more about the companies you may want to work with – and meet the people responsible for hiring!
5
GET INTERNSHIP READY
To find a great internship when you are ready for it, complete our 3-step, self-guided internship prep programs:

Once you complete the program, you will earn a digital badge, qualify to apply for a “Community Impact” Pace-funded PAID internship, and optimize your chances of getting hired.
