If you are interested in learning about health and wellness, as well as managing healthcare organizations, advocating for healthcare policies, developing systems that make healthcare delivery more effective, and educating the public on wellness matters, this is the Career Community for you! Members of this community enjoy planning, directing, or coordinating medical provider facilities, helping others maximize healthy lifestyles, and developing policies that promote health and safety for the community. You may also contribute to developing improved health information systems that will advance medical practice and diminish the spread of disease. As a non-clinical healthcare worker, you could choose to work in Ambulatory Health Care Services (e.g., Medical Doctor Offices, Family Planning Centers, Mental Health Centers, Medical Centers, Medical Laboratories, Diagnostic Centers), Hospitals, or Nursing and Residential Care centers, Government Agencies, Non-Profit Organizations, or companies that deliver technology services to hospitals and other healthcare providers.
