Under supervision, is responsible for receiving and transmitting Tenant Rental Assistance Certification System (TRACS) files; assists with troubleshooting problematic TRACS files and systematic occurrences within the software; ensures that HMFA developments satisfy the requirements of TRACS in accordance with HUD regulations. Perform related duties as required.
- Review and approve Special Claims. Draft approval and denial of special claims correspondence for the Director’s signature. Maintain database and logs associated with Special Claims.
- Monitor TRACS files received by HMFA and sent to HUD.
- Assist with resolving problematic issues within developments when submitted.
- Assist managers with resolving conflicts within their software systems for successful transmissions.
- Assist TRACS Coordinators with troubleshooting problems within the TRACS software system.
- Maintain a working relationship with HDS, the HMFA software vendor, in resolving issues of conflict. Function as liaison between the Occupancy unit and their technical support team to resolve internal problems and development-related issues.
- Maintain a database of electronic transmission of tenant files through Tenant Rental Assistance Certification Systems (TRACS). Update rent schedules as required.
- Review and approve Section 8 HUD vouchers. Review, correct and process vacancy payments during and after the initial rent-up period. Review re-marketing efforts to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Conduct a comparison review of TRACS files to the TRACS subsystem and transmission to the site.
- Generate written correspondence as required.
