We are looking for an ambitious intern to support digital marketing initiatives for our healthcare clients. The person in this role will be responsible for social listening, social media content creation (both copy and creative elements using Canva), SEO research, paid media support, analytics reporting, comment monitoring and community management. This person is expected to learn the regulations governing our healthcare clients and stay on top of social media changes and trends.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Research and write social media content for multiple biotech/pharma clients across social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc.)
- Create compelling graphics and animations for use on social media accounts (utilizing Photoshop or Canva)
- Assist with managing the LifeSci Communications social media accounts including but not limited to content strategy, content creation, and comment monitoring
- Utilize third party social listening tools (Quid, Sprout Social, SEM Rush, etc.) to compile data and key
insights around disease states, companies, competitors, products and events
- Monitor social conversations and provide recommendations for engagement
- Develop analytics reports to help identify program success and areas of opportunities
- Assist with development, launches, and optimizations of paid media campaigns
- Research target audience to find the area of opportunity for paid programs
Experience:
- Junior/senior year of college or graduated college senior major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Instagram)
- Previous use of social media tools such as Quid, Sprout Social, Brandwatch, etc. ideal, but not required
- One previous internship in marketing, public relations, advertising or communications internship is preferred
- Experience with Photoshop, Canva, or relevant software to create graphics and images for social media content
- Passionate, self-motivated individual with an interest in marketing
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Adapts well to a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment with multiple priorities and projects

- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Photoshop/Canva, or other relevant software
- Business use for major social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Meta, etc.)
