OR

  • You have completed one of the following internship prep programs: INSPIRE, ASPIRE, or ASPIRE Express Pass.

The Community Impact internships will go live on Handshake in February.

You can search for these internships using the label, “community impact summer internship”, OR search by the keywords “Community Impact Summer”.

No. Once you complete the ASPIRE or INSPIRE Program, we will need to grade your assessments, and you will be eligible to apply for “Community Impact” internships by the next business day.

The program badges will be distributed at the end of each month.

While you can apply to more than one internship, we recommend no more than 3 applications.

Please make sure to only apply for internships that you are most qualified for AND can make the commitment to complete the internship (including commuting to the worksite, able to work during the internship dates, etc.).

No cover letter is needed for the Community Impact Funded Internship Program application. Students only need to submit targeted resumes to apply for internships in Handshake that they feel most qualified and interested in.

International F-1 visa students do not need to be CPT eligible to apply as these internships are funded by Pace University.

As long as you are a currently enrolled student graduating Dec of next year or later AND have completed the INSPIRE program, you can apply.

The start and end dates for each internship will be listed on the postings, as determined by each host organization.

Once all applications are submitted, the host organizations will review the resumes received for the internships and select those candidates they wish to interview virtually.

  • After the interviews are completed, the host organizations will make their selections.

  • Career Services will then inform selected students of their internship offer(s).
