Repurpose is a nonprofit organization that utilizes the resale of luxury items to provide job readiness training, workforce development opportunities, and scholarships in the fashion and design industries, while also providing conscious-minded communities the opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable world.
The Repurpose marketing team juggles various marketing platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, email marketing, and more. This role requires a lot of creativity, collaboration, and attention to detail. You will assist the team in executing editorial campaigns, creating social media content, working with influencers, and keeping the eCommerce site up to date with new merchandise that is being showcased in marketing efforts.
We are looking for someone with strong communication and collaboration skills, an interest in pre-loved clothing, and a willingness to learn. At Repurpose we believe in the power of self-actualization and mentorship to aid in professional development. Our RENEW Program is designed to give interns and volunteers the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and foster genuine connections that will support further career growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Create visually appealing photo and video content to spread our mission and promote product on various channels
– Work with head stylist to conduct seasonal editorial campaigns from start to finish, including coordinating models, managing work orders, and partaking in creative direction
– Work with the marketing team to develop branded content
– Collaborate with influencers to reach a larger audience through social media
– Shoot incoming products on a ghost mannequin and flat lay
– Be responsible for file naming and organization of digital files
– Properly setting up the photo studio space
– Control natural or artificial lighting conditions
– Editing photos for all marketing channels
– Editing visual elements in post-production through Lightroom, Canva, and Capcut
