As a Physical Therapy Aide Intern, your days will be active and deeply people-centered. You’ll guide patients through exercises under the therapist’s direction, prepare treatment spaces between sessions, set up equipment like bands, weights, or hot and cold packs, and make sure every person who walks through our doors feels supported from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist Physical Therapist and Physical Therapy Assistants
- Help patients on and off treatment tables
- Monitoring patients during exercises to ensure proper form and safety
- Sanitizing equipment and surfaces after each use
- Assist in keeping the clinic running smoothly
- Check in with patients to ensure they feel welcome and heard
- Contribute to the positive experience that keeps patients returning
- Restocking supplies (towels, electrodes, resistance bands, etc.)
