We are looking for an ABA therapist (“line therapist” or “aide”) to implement 1:1 programs to children in their homes, schools, or in our clinic. The therapist may also serve as instructional shadows in school settings. You must enjoy working with children and be comfortable interacting with culturally and linguistically diverse families.
Qualified candidates should have a prior experience working with children with ASD and have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a closely related field. Completion of a 40-hour self-paced RBT training, provided by NYBAPS, is required prior to the therapist’s assignment to a case.
Preference will be given to applicants who possess BCaBA certification, are interested in pursuing graduate degrees, and have regular schedules of availability for cases.
For this position, you must be available a minimum of 4 days a week, after school hours, even if only for 3-4 hours per day. You must also have a reliable means of transportation.
Absolutely no past (or future!) criminal history or drug use. Must pass TB test and background check. We are looking for full-time, part-time, and independent contractors. Salary is commensurate with experience.
When applying, please indicate your availability to work (e.g., I am available Mon-Thurs 2:00-6:00pm, and all day Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).
