The Teaching Assistant, Summer Analyst internship is an exciting opportunity for undergraduate students to develop professional and personal skills in a dynamic corporate environment. The position is a unique combination of organizational, analytical, communication, and administrative skills. The ideal candidate must be a team player, proactive, and able to anticipate issues before they arise. A strong sense of time management is critical as well. The role includes both internal team and external clients/vendors responsibilities. What You’ll Do:
- Prepare logistics for summer training which will include critical data management
- Monitor and report student progress daily by running various data analyses in excel
- Work closely with our instructors to assess student performance and be responsible for sending out critical follow-ups
- Develop weekly digest emails that will be sent to our client’s program managers
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and refinement of training materials, assessments, and instructional methodologies based on student feedback, exam performance data, and industry developments
- Collaborate with senior faculty members to ensure course materials and curriculum align with current exam content outlines, regulations, and industry best practices
- Learn the SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) and take the actual exam
- Work with your peers to assist in various ad-hoc summer-related projects as they arise
Additional Responsibilities:
- Identify and respond to client’s needs
- Help clients navigate the website, product offerings, and resources
- Collect and organize product data
- Analyze individual student and class data and interpret results
- Partner with others to resolve last-minute escalated issues
- Assist with various client & team event preparation such as set-up, ordering material, and catering
